It makes for easy install / uninstalling of mods. This handy program is called the DA Modder. Thanks to some kind soul out there, you can have this taken care of in just a few clicks – no tutorials or coding experience needed. You can edit them yourself if you feel up to the task, but I prefer things as easy as possible.
Thus if you have 3 different Mods with 3 different chargenmorphcfg files, you get a recipe for instant frustration. Only one chargenmorphcfg will work at a time. The reason for this is the all have a chargenmorphcfg file. You may have had the frustration of having one work, not the other, and not being able to get them to all work at the same time.
= Technical Modsįirst and foremost, there’s a very common problem faced with installing Mods which change hair styles, skin tones, eye colors, add hair colors and other fun things for your character.
click on Technical link below for a possible fix. If you’re having problems with More Hairstyles, Pineapple Tree, CC’s Tints and Tones, etc. The Dark Times Act 1 link has been changed and it’s current.
This will take you to the actual mod until I have time to update all the dead links. For now the correct addresses are:Įach of these links has a number on it when you go to a dead page. I’ll also add several more mods to my list. I’m in the process of cleaning it up and fixing them. So come on over, grab the latest beta (which at the time of this writing is Beta 1.9.5) and join in the fun! I think you will find DAModder to be a nice easy to use mod manager that is growing very fast, with lots of new features to come. Many of the links on this page are broken. You can also join us on the DAModder discussion forum: Installation and Uninstallation of most all mod packages is very easy to use. While it is very important to be aware that DAModder is not finished, I can say that it is rather solid in its current version. That means anyone who wants to can now download the application and use it, and hopefully help report any issues you find. I am happy to announce that DAModder, which has been in development for about 2 weeks and in a closed beta testing, is now officially moving into an Open beta phase. While I will, most likely, no longer be posting new modding content here, I want everyone to rest assured that I will keep this blog running so that the knowledge it contains can remain for future generations of modders to use.Īnd who knows, maybe I will come back at some point and make a few mods, once GraviTile is out. Before I knew what had happened, months then years had gone by!Īs I said at the start, its interesting to see that this blog is still actively visited, and apparently useful for continuing waves of new Dragon Age modders. I’m sorry for disappearing off the face of the interwebs, but things happened quickly and just steamrolled beyond my control. These days i’m happily settled into that career, and have more free time on my hands, but instead of modding games, my free time these days is spent on writing my own! I will be releasing my first iPad game, GraviTile sometime this year, and have several other designs on the books as they say. There just wasn’t time, as I threw myself fully into my new career. Modding and maintaining this blog just wasn’t an option anymore. Shortly after putting this blog together, I had a series of life changing events I started a new career and made a big move. I’m happy that the knowledge I have shared has helped so many people. That said, it seems traffic to this blog is still high, and new comments come in regularly. As is quite obvious from the date of the last post here, I no longer maintain this as an active blog.
